Getting Here
Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) is the international gateway to Sabah. The closest airport to Semporna is Tawau Airport (TWU), which offers regular domestic flights to and from Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur. If you’re traveling from Tawau Airport to Semporna by road, the journey typically takes around 1 hour, covering a distance of 83 kilometers.

Seaventures is located 26 kilometers away from Semporna Port in Sabah, and near Mabul Island. Standard transfers to Seaventures are scheduled for 10:00 am, starting from Tawau Airport to Semporna, and followed by a boat transfer to the dive rig. For departure, the boat leaves at 2:00 pm from the rig to Semporna. If your travel plans do not match the scheduled transfers, not to worry! Alternative transportation to Seaventures Dive Rig can be arranged. Pending on sea
conditions, boat transfers to the rig can take up to an hour.

What to Expect
Upon arrival, guests at Seaventures Dive Rig are given a rig tour and a comprehensive safety briefing. This unique facility offers all the amenities and services of a full-board dive resort. The rig features 41 comfortable guestrooms, each with a private bathroom for convenience.

You won’t go hungry at Seaventures! Guests can enjoy delicious and healthy meals at the on-site kitchen, as well as tea, coffee,and snacks throughout the day at the large communal dining area. The island bar on the main deck is the perfect place to chill out in the evening with music and occasional live band performances.

The dive rig offers various facilities and recreational spaces, including a circular sundeck with stunning views of nearby
Mabul Island and water villages dotted across the island. As night falls, don’t miss out on the magical night sky, filled with twinkling stars from the Milky Way. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy life’s simple pleasures at Seaventures.

When you are not diving, there is plenty of space to relax. Our crew is always up for a challenge for a game of pool or table tennis in the games room, and we have a selection of movies on DVD as well. We also offer massage services to help you relax and a multipurpose room with air conditioning for those who
need to catch up on work.

For those who want to experience something more exciting like our famous Rig jump, our attentive rig crew can help arrange supervised 20-meter platform jumps from the sundeck.

Dive junkies will thoroughly enjoy the in-house benefit of unlimited rig dive, to discover exceptional house reef that offers shelter to a diverse ecosystem of marine life around the rig legs.  Seaventures’ 5-star dive centre offers a range of PADI courses along with a full range of technical diving equipment rental and facilities, a wet room, Nitrox fills, a camera room and training room.  Other activities available include exploring nearby world-class dive sites at nearby Mabul Island, diving at Sipadan, and island hopping around Tun Sakaran Marine Park.

The Seaventures Dive Rig team can assist with all arrangements.
