Ocean Conservation Week

We are proud to be holding our very first Ocean Conservation week in August (7-12th August) from Seaventures Dive Rig Mabul. The whole week will be dedicated towards ocean conservation activity to create awareness not only for our guests but the children from the local community.

PADI Freediving

Freediving is the sport of descending underwater on a single breath using minimal equipment. It is the sport of understanding your body and learning to challenge its limits. It is experiencing the underwater world quietly and on your own terms, and, the chance to have a natural interaction with the beautiful life under the waves.

Sipadan

Sipadan is the only oceanic island in Malaysia. It was formed by coral growing on an extinct volcano that rises 600m from the continental shelf. Sipadan took thousands of years to develop and is in the centre of one of the richest marine habitats in the world – at least 3000 fish species, and hundreds of coral species have been recorded at Sipadan.

Mangroves are vitally important for coral growth and formation, and for the fish that live on them.

We ADOPTED A DIVE SITE

Every day we share the wonders of the ocean with our valued guests. And of course, we always try and match the wonders underwater with superb service and food in between dives.
