As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort on the east coast of Sabah, we offer the full range of PADI Recreational courses a stone-throw away from the world-famous dive sites of Mabul and Sipadan. We strictly adhere to PADI standards and aim for all of our students to leave here with superb buoyancy skills, an understanding of how we can protect and enhance the ocean environment, a passion to carry on diving, and a desire to learn more about diving. It helps that we dive at Sipadan and Mabul, the two world-class diving destinations every day, and have a multi-lingual dive team with over 100 years diving experience between them.
The diving market has changed drastically over the last few years. There’s been a massive increase in demand in Chinese diving courses, especially PADI Open Water Diver course, Advanced Open Water Course, and NITROX Course. And we, as a 5 Star Resort offering the full range of SCUBA diving courses in Sabah, Malaysia are now able to get PADI Open Water Diver students into the water quicker than ever. Also, and long overdue, we’re seeing a much greater awareness of the threats facing the ocean. These are all really positive trends and provide great opportunities. It means we can share more and more of the underwater world that we love, with more and more people.

One of the challenges that come with it is to make sure that we, as an industry, maintain our emphasis on safety standards, developing good buoyancy skills, and educating divers about the ocean environment. Students, at any level, must leave us relatively confident and capable, and with a good mastery of whatever course, they have come to learn. And as dive professionals, we should never “cut corners”. We have a responsibility to make sure our students are equipped with the right knowledge, skills, dive gears, and mindset.
